I want to pay speech and occupational therapy for my children!

Nice to meet you! My name is Maureen and I'm from Paranaque, Philippines!

My children suffer congenital deafness on both ears and I would like to raise some funds to be able to keep paying the therapy they need to improve their communication skills. I'm hoping for everyone's support!

Both children are suffering profound hearing loss since born.

Elijah and Ezekiel are twins and they are 5 years old boys. In 2017 they underwent surgery to place their implants.

In order to learn how to communicate correctly with other people they need to receive a special therapy I can't keep affording.

They would be able to go to a normal school

Since 2 years algo I've been facing alone many medical expenses as well as the therapy cost.

But this is really important for my children, as they are learning how to communicate correctly in the therapy. They need to lear communication to be able to spend time with other children and have a normal life in a normal school.

The therapy has to be taken in a private center

These expenses are not covered by any health insurance and I have to pay them with my own savings that are about to disappear.

Living as a single parent

I work as a saleslady and my monthly income is around $200.

As a single parent I'm not capable to support thier medical needs. I have to pay alone all our daily expenses and also I need to afford many medical expenses.

My parents are helping me to take care of the children when I'm working, but they are not able to financially support me. That's why I'm trying to raise some funds that would drastically help my twins to not only hear but also to be 'normal' children.

I would like to raise $1,500 that will be exclusively used to pay my children's therapy.

Schedule

If I manage to collect enough funds, my children will be able to keep receiving therapy and their condition will be notably improved.

As soon as they are able to communicate, they will be able to go to school and live like normal and happy children.
