Please Help Diomedes Escalante

I am doing this on behalf of a friend who has a father who is very sick and in dire need of financial assistance.

A little background story: Mr Diomedes ‘Medick’ Escalante has undergone bypass heart surgery last month. The operation went well and the patient was sent home to recuperate. The hospital bill then amounted to anything closer to PHP1.5M, luckily Mr Escalante’s pension was able to cover these.However, last April 27th the patient had difficulty of breathing and was again rushed to the hospital - De La Salle University Medical Centre in Dasmarinas, Cavite Philippines. He was told that he contracted pneumonia plus another minor heart attack. Having been diagnosed with pneumonia in the Philippines nowadays is synonymous to being a COVID19 patient. Thus all medical personnels attending to the patient are required to wear PPE to safeguard themselves against possible cross-infection (totally understandable as we need to protect our frontliners). However, the cost of these PPEs are charged to the hospital bill of Mr Escalante. The family is emotionally, psychologically and financially drained at the moment. They are crying for prayers and financial assistance to anybody who is able to help. Any amount (small or big) will be greatly appreciated.
