Please Help my Uncle in his fight

Hi Everyone,

My name is Mary Ann, and I’m raising money for my uncle Maximo “isot” Gutierrez hospital bill and medication.

My uncle has been strugle alone

I just want to share my Uncle’s story. He has been living alone since his wife died in 2011, they have no children.

We, his nieces, nephews and siblings, are supporting him since he was sick. Due to financial problems, we always bring him to Public Hospital only.

This past April 28th he felt bad about his body so we brought him immediately to the hospital, because of the Covid- 19 Pandemic problem that our country (Philippines) is suffering, almost all of the Public Hospital is full and they are referring us to bring our Uncle in a Private Hospital. Even if we have problems in financial status, we still bring our uncle to a Private Hospital to do his medication.

Suffering from kidney failure, currently in ICU

Now, he is in the ICU at VRP Hospital in Mandaluyong, he is suffering from a severe kidney failure.

Our running bill in the hospital is about more than 1 million peso (almost US $20,000), the hospital is asking to settle at least half of the running bill to continue his medication, if we fail to settle the payment, we need to sign a waiver allowing them to stop his medication..

Medication will be stopped if we couldn't settle the payment

if we fail to settle the payment, we need to sign a waiver allowing them to stop their medication.. We don’t want that thing to happen and look like we are waiting for the day that his body gives up and he will die.

We already go to the government agencies to ask for assistance, but unfortunately, the process has been delayed due to the problem our country is experiencing about COVID-19 pandemic.

My uncle already survived the first operation (ij catheter insertion), but after that operation, he was put in the ICU due to heart rate & blood pressure problems. They already did 4 sessions of hemodialysis.

Also, he is a PUI for the COVID-19, but the first result of his test is negative.

Please help us to continue my uncle's medication

Now, all his vital signs are improving, his heart rate is going near to normal, also his blood pressure is going good. It is a sign that he is still fighting to live and we don’t want to end it due to our problem in money to support his medication.

We are asking and knocking to all the hearts of people who will read my letter. I don’t know how I can return all the things that you will give us to us, but I know GOD will give it back to you.
