Because of the firework explosion I lost thumb on my left hand.

Hello, my name is Jaanus Lunda. And I need your help.

When I lit the firework, it should have been 10 seconds before it started, but this did not happen, because of this I lost the thumb on my left hand.

It’s good that the ambulance arrived quickly, but while they were taking me to the hospital, I lost consciousness.

Now I have 2 options for the outcome of events:

1) Make a thumb transplant (it will cost money, but my insurance can only pay 40% of this). By August, doctors will find me a donor, and the surgeon will try to make a transplantation. He also said that it is a very difficult operation, and in Estonia it was done only once in a history.

2) The second option is cheaper, but the prosthesis will not look good, and I will not be able to move anything.

I haven’t been working for 6 months now, and I receive only 380 euros for disability every month, I have debts, so I can’t save up money for the operation they plan to do. I am worried about the opinion of other people, because most of them look at my hand and ask what had happened.
