I need to buy my prosthetic leg

Hello dear readers,

My name is Ma. Lourdes C. Martin, I am 26 years old and from the Philippines.

I am disabled and i need your support to buy a prosthetic leg, here is my story

I am a survivor from an earthquake

I came from a very poor family and had to work to survive from a young age.In 2019 my life changed forever.

At the age of 25 while working far from my family I became the victim of a great earthquake, the building I was working in was devastated by the earthquake and began to crumble around me, I fell to the floor and hit my head and got a concussion, while laying there a steel beam fell on my right leg trapping me.

One Of my legs was amputated

When the rescuers finally found me they didn’t have the heavy equipment to cut and remove the beam, so they decided the only way to save me was to amputate my leg!

They found a construction saw, and without any anesthesia they began cutting my leg to free me, I felt so much pain but I stayed strong because I knew I would live to see my family again.

It has been a very hard and painful recovery and I still have nightmares about my past.

Help me to walk with 2 legs again by replace or repair my prosthetic foot

I have been making progress and learning to live with only 1 leg and use a prosthetic, that was until my prosthetic foot cracked and broke making my prosthetic leg unusable and forcing me to use crutches for everything.

My family and I cannot afford to replace or repair my prosthetic foot, so I am asking for any available donations to help me walk on 2 legs again.
