Story
Hello!
I am Adrian Torres, I am from Ecuador and currently lives in Lima, Peru.
During this period, many emigrants who need help, so I decided to start a process fundraising to help migrants living in Peru today.
I am a migrant, and I know well how it feels, we can't live well if we didn't have a proper job and company.
Today, many migrants of various nationalities in Peru have been affected as a result of the loss of jobs, suspension of wages, and even eviction from their homes as a result of insolvency in rent payments.
The benefits granted by the state have not reached these citizens who today are on the street without receiving help beyond that granted by the passer-by who walks beside them.
That is why I started this fundraising campaign to help those children and adults to reduce this bad moment that they are going through.
My interest is in helping 30 families from the most humble sectors of the city of Lima, located in the neighborhoods of Comas, San Juan de Lurigancho and Villa El Salvador, to minimize the need through the delivery of bags with groceries with a value average of $ 50 US dollars each.
I estimate to raise the US $1,500 since I estimate that each bag of groceries will have a product value of $ 50 which can give food for 15 days to an average family of 5 people. through local volunteers, I can get transportation to the delivery area.
The aid that will be provided will be food bags and coordination with other entities for the temporary solution on the issue of accommodation since many immigrants have been evicted from their homes as a result of not having the money to pay their leases,
Primarily food is needed, there are mothers who make community meals and feed their children once a day, that is not fair, the government has not granted any type of aid to foreigners in Peru, the little help has been granted by private companies that have provided food in some communities.
The immigrant population has been abandoned by the government despite being legal in the country. That is why my concern is for all these families who today have nothing to eat or who hopefully eat from a meal made among all the inhabitants of the community.
I know it is a big task but a grain of sand will give relief and we will demonstrate what we are capable of in difficult times.
I will really appreciate your help
