Help me feed these children with autism and other special needs.

Hi everyone!

My name is Chrisinda Duvenage and I am 21 years old. I started volunteering in special needs schools all through middle and high school and at the age of 20.

Young Eagles School and Development Center

I am in my final year of qualifying as an ECD practitioner and my focus is on children with special educational needs. I registered my own Non profit organization and started my own Early Childhood Development Centre.

Food parcels for families with special needs children

I am raising funds so that I can provide each of the 95 families of the special needs children in my Non-Profit School with a food parcel to help feed their families during this difficult time. These children have different disabilities and disorders ranging from being paralyzed to being Autistic.

$23 USD will support a family for a month

I provide each parcel for every family that contains the following: 5 kg maize meal, 2 kg rice, 4 cans of pilchards, 2 bags of lentils, 2 bags of milk powder, 4 sachets of onions soup, 750 ml oil, 2 bars of soap.

Each parcel will costs us R400 or $22-$23 USD, but it contains enough food to feed a family of 4, for a month!

We looking forward for your support

We would love to raise more money so that we can include items like fresh vegetables and fruits to ensure our families receive enough vitamins and nutrients especially with our winter around the corner.
