Help Me Pursue Baking for a Living

Hello, everyone!

My name is Jeca, 29 years old, married to Kristofer. We have a three-year-old son named Elliot Knox. We currently reside in the province of Cavite.

This is my story

Last March, our town has been under strict community quarantine (shelter-in-place). Many lost their jobs, including my husband. He works as an event photographer but ever since the Philippines was hit hard with Covid-19, events and bookings have all been canceled.

My husband is now trying to sell his equipment but to no avail because most people here are also in great need of money.

I want to help my family survive

Unfortunately, we were NOT included in any of the government aid in our town, so we have to think of a different line of work to be able to provide for our daily needs.

Baking is one of the things I can do in order to provide for our daily needs. I also plan to extend help to my parents and in-laws if I will be able to earn extra.

Most of the commercial bakeshops here are closed and I see a great demand for cakes and pastries from people celebrating at their homes.

Please help me pursue my love for baking

I love baking. I used to bake everyday back in my dad's house. I was able to attend a free seminar in making bread and pastries back then.

I will be glad to be able to do something I enjoy while earning at the same time.

What I need to buy

1. Stand mixer $160

2. Basic Baking Tools $100

3. Baking Ingredients $100

-flour, eggs, sugar, cocoa powder, butter, milk, salt, cinnamon, nuts, etc.

4. Bauman Bread Maker $94

With our current situation, I do not know where I will be able to get the money to start this business. What we have right now is enough just for food expenses.

I am hopeful that you will be able to help me pursue baking for a living.

Whatever amount I receive, I will make do. I promise to pay it forward once I am able to.
