I want to pay for my Ph.D. registration!

Hello everyone,

My name is Andrea Torres, from the city of Bogotá-Colombia,

I was admitted to the Doctorate program in Engineering at the Universidad de Los Andes, but I have no financial resources for the academic semester. I participated in a competition for a scholarship, but I was not favored.

My knowledge is used to help many people

Since I graduated as Biomedical Engineering, I have worked to find engineering solutions for life.

I was designing teams to rehabilitate people with physical disabilities; exoskeletons for motor rehabilitation; biomechanical studies of movements, sports gestures, and pathologies; digital biomechanics and characterization of movements, among other projects.

My current project related to heart attack problem

Currently, I am linking to my knowledge of the science of biomaterials and I have been working on the manufacture of a patch to regenerate damaged heart tissue when a heart attack occurs.

Heart attacks and heart failure are one of the highest incidences of death worldwide.

My development will help and impact the health and quality of life of many people.

Funds needed to able to continue my study is 3,249.5 USD

I need your help because I do not have the registration tuition money for the next semester, which begins in the month of August 2020.

It has a cost of $12,176,000 COP (3,249.5 USD) and I must pay it no later than between First and second week of August 2020

My current financial statements do not allow me to pay for my studies and are intended to cover my other monthly fixed expenses.

Help me to pay the tuition for my doctoral studies and continue with my thesis project

All the budget collected will go to a single purpose which is to pay the tuition fee for the doctoral semester at one of the best universities in my country (Universidad de Los Andes)
