Our Home for the Elderly "Santa María"

Home for Seniors Santa María   started with the support of Surgeon Rosendo Javier Rivera Salinas   and at the Directorate Enf José Luis Hernández Martínez, the start date of operations of the home is April 15st 2016 having as a vision: “the resident discovers in care and warmth that we express their worth and dignity.) and mission: “To Provide the residents of Casa Hogar Santa María with a quality service, receiving efficient health care and food where they develop activities that allow them to stay in the best physical, mental and psychosocial conditions, always offering safe, personalized and warm care.)

We currently have 17 residents, we have the capacity of 20 at our home in Enrique C. Rebsamen, Col. Education Santa Rosa Panzacola Oaxaca.

With the funds raised, we plan to acquire rehabilitation materials in order to provide a better quality of life for our elders, since they are high-priced supplies and we cannot afford to buy them all as well as set up a care area for family visits. During this pandemic family members haven’t been able to see their loved ones for months and the isolation is affecting them quite a lot. we already mention that we will buy supplies for the protection of the personnel who work in our institution, since we have been dealing with this care center with a very limited budget having to make unforeseen expenses for COVID-19 and thereby guarantee the protection of our resident users to whom we owe and in these difficult times are the most vulnerable.
