Raising funds to keep paying my nephew's treatment against cancer

Nice to meet you! My name is Natali and I'm from Ibagué, Colombia!

This project is to get support to help my sister's son, who is suffering from a brain tumor. I would be really thankful if you can help him!

My 10 years old nephew is suffering a brain tumor

My nephew is only 10 years old, but he is suffering a very serious disease.

He already underwent surgery 3 times, to try to remove the tumor from his head. The tumor is located in a very delicated area in the brain, so it has not been removed completely.

My nephew is still under treatment and he needs to travel more than 200 km in order to go to the hospital, in another city.

Living together

My sister used to work as a lawyer but she has to quit when my nephew got sick, to take care of him.

My sister has 2 children. When the old one has to receive his treatment, me and my mum take care of the young one. We, as a family, try to support each other as much as we can.

As my sister has no job, me and my mum, we are taking care of the living expenses.

Usually, my nephew's treatment is covered by our health insurance, but there are other many expenses that are not included, like the transportation, food and accommodation when they are in another city to receive the treatment, as well as some vitamins he needs to take.

We just have left $200

I'm working as a teacher and my mum is working as a seamstress.

However, our family had to use a lot of savings to pay all the medical expenses until now.

My nephew needs to keep receiving treatment but without savings we won't be able to help him.
