Hi everyone,

I am Lina Marcela Bermudez, 37 years old. Allow me this time to give voice to my beloved daughter, Sara Giraldo Bermudez, our beloved Sarita.

I was diagnosed with an extremely rare disease

Hello! I am Sarita. I am 12 years old. I live in Pereira city of Colombia with my parents and brothers. I was diagnosed with a very rare disease (chronic intestinal pseudo-obstruction) that only 3 people suffer from it in Colombia. It has no cure, but there is a treatment to help me having a better quality of life.

My disease progresses

My disease started on February 4, 2020 and progresses rapidly and aggressively, I lost my digestive functions from mouth to rectum. And as days are passing by, I have very little time to find treatment, my illness progresses more and I have less possibilities of improvement.

Help me get treatment at the US (Boston)

The only person who can give me the treatment is Dr. SAMUEL NURKO at the BOSTON CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL in the city of BOSTON United States, I seek your help to be able to go to his clinic and get the treatment so I can fulfill my dreams of finishing my studies and becoming a great fashion designer.

How I will use your support

I do not have the financial resources to go to Boston and get treated. Therefore, all your support will be used to cover my medical expenses, treatments, tickets, lodging, food and air tickets to Boston where I can find the treatment for my illness.
