My name is Jorge Alvear, a Naturalist Guide from Ecuador.
And I have lived for more than twenty years in the Galapagos Islands.
Hard time during covid-19
The economy of the Galapagos Islands depends mainly on tourism,
That is why, due to the CoVid19, the tourism activity is totally paralyzed and its full reactivation could take even years
I want to start ecological garden
In order to able to survive and get pass through the pandemic without a stable income because my brother and I have been unemployed for several months, since we are naturalist guides and currently there are no visitors, so we have decided to join and start an ecological garden where we can produce our food and help our economy, on which our families.
My goal is to buy seeds, soil for cultivation and work tools.
We will use well the collected funds to make the ecological garden.
