Hello everyone,

I am Hyunbae Kim, 17 years old student from South Korea and I am currently living in Malaysia.

I am a high school student who helps out with the organization and several other refugee communities in Malaysia, like the SECC, Light of the World Community Centre Malaysia, Pakistani Community Centre Malaysia and Han International, during my free time.

The Light of the World Community Centre Malaysia: What We Are Doing

Since 2020, COVID-19 has disrupted daily lives: some people lost their lives, others lost their jobs and struggle to support themselves and their community financially. Help is urgently needed around the world, including in Malaysia. Mr Arshad and his organization, the Light of the World Community Centre Malaysia in Malaysia, is actively reaching out to communities unable to support themselves and providing vital and critical essentials to living like rice, eggs, oil, education, and personal protective equipment (face masks).

Who We Are

We are a group of dedicated and driven volunteers who make it our first priority in life to provide for the needy, both in Malaysia and beyond. The Light of the World Community Centre Malaysia organization has and continues to be the lifeline of hundreds of families worldwide who have been affected by the pandemic. Our non-profit organization entirely consisting of unpaid volunteers make it their goal to "make children and people successful, and helpful members of society." We achieve this goal through our refugee school by providing quality education to help people break out of poverty and uplift their communities. We achieve this goal by providing much-needed supplies to help people get back on their feet.

We equip students with the skills to thrive in the modern world. We train people to tackle the hardest challenges in life and how to cope with adverse conditions.

The problem

We are living in a direly critical situation in Malaysia. We are in short of education, food, and have moved to Malaysia to survive. We are in a constant struggle but we never let that stop us from giving as much help as we possibly can to others. Our hope is to continue to provide free quality education to the uneducated, food to the hungry, mental help, and legal assistance as well as with resettlement.

How You Can Help

Your generous donations, of any amount, will 100% go directly to providing humanitarian aid to those who need it in Malaysia. Your donations will educate, feed, support, and defend the marginalized in society. Our hope is to create self-sustaining communities and start a global movement to train those we help to help others and make this world a better place.

Please donate and share our cause, and we will do the rest

God bless and thank you.
