Donating school uniforms and bags for schoolchildren

Good day everyone!

I am Sadruddin, the president of ANSARA Langkawi, currently residing in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The project is being created on Airtripp on behalf of our organisation ANSARA Langkawi, my organization.

ANSARA Langkawi is an NGO registered in Malaysia consisting of young professionals which are alumni of MARA Junior Science College dedicated to projects that benefits our society ranges from social welfare to student development. I'm so humbly honored to help this organisation grow.

Able to go to school is a blessing

Given the chance to go to school is a blessing and a life changing moment to a person. Lets not stop those who are in need, to attend schools due to inability to equip themselves.

From this background of belief, we have been distributing schools uniforms all around Malaysia yearly. And we wish to do the same again this year.

We managed to help out 238 students in Dec 2018 which cost us MYR 14,000 equivalent to USD 3,400. Only bag and some stationary were given, we feel it's not enough.

This year we planned to make it better by providing a full range school supplies. Each of the students will receive a set of school uniform, a bag, a shoe and a pair of socks.

It would be an honor if we could help out 2,500 students this year. Distribution shall start in November and end in December 2019 before the next school term starts in 2020.

Each set will cost MYR 150 equivalent to USD 36. To be honest, to reach our target in providing school uniform sets to 2,500 students, we will need USD 90,000.

But here we only raise USD 500 as first trial, because we do expect this campaign will gain huge success

So we can let the children know that they were supported by people all over the world!! It will boost their self confidence!

We wish to see through this project to it's success and to open this opportunity to the community a chance to contribute as well, hand in hand with online communities.
