Please Help 3-Years-Old Samuel Survive from A Deadly Cancer

I'm Ferlyn Alonzo Delos Reyes from Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia and a mother of a 3 years old boy Samuel Liau Yi Chen. He was diagnosed with high risk Neuroblastoma with N-MYC amplification (stage 4 and spread to the bone marrow) last July 14, 2021. The tumor known "Monster of Children's Cancer", is a rare cancer with a rapid and dangerous onset. The tumor have progressed as big as his fist when diagnosed..

Everything starts with an on and off fever, back pain and bilateral leg pain in early of July 2021. The back pain worsened over time and affect his mobility and disturb his sleep.

At a tender age of 3, Samuel been through 8 cycles of chemotherapy from August 5 to October 14, 202. Countless and endless blood tests, bone marrow aspirations, MRI, MIBG, CT- Scan and PET CT and been transfused 5 pint packed cell and 7 units platelet. After his chemotherapy we sent him to Hospital Kuala Lumpur for the operation. Samuel underwent 5 hours of gruelling resecting surgery. Unable to properly express his pain and discomfort, all I could do was watch as he screamed and cried. The surgery went well last November 9, 2021.

While Samuel was bedridden and attached to several machines for support, I was by his bedside day and night to keep his company while he was scared and alone. For almost 5 months stayed in the hospital and away from home, I had to sacrifice and left my youngest daughter, she's now 7 months old only.

Samuel suffered a lot during treatment. Hair losses, no appetite, diarrhea, butt rashes, vomiting and difficulty to sleep. He's only 3 years old and doesn't understand what's wrong with him but was forced into treatments.

As a parents, me and my husband really tried our best to give what's best for Samuel. In order to save his life, all our savings was not enough to pay for his medical treatment and the best chance of his survival is to undergo Immunotherapy cost RM 360,800. Currently, Samuel still here in Kuala Lumpur and on December 10, 2021 he will be admit to the other hospital for stemcell transplant which cost RM 51,790.
