Hello! My name is Pethinaidu Genganaidu, I'm 49 and I work as General Manager here at Malaysia.

This is a fund raising project to provide daily groceries, food, healthcare, hygiene and medical supplies to the poor and underprivileged families affected during the MCO (movement control order) due to COVID Pandemic in Malaysia.

Due the lockdown order by Malaysian Government to curb the spread of COVID 19 , many poor families were subjected to distress situation without food and income to feed their family. We are staying in rural area, with many poor and underprivileged people around.

We have a small "Sai Baba Centre" (hindu devotional centre) nearby was helping few families in need. My wife runs a sundry store within the vicinity and i was approached by one of the centre committee member Ms Subashini (who is my university junior) to sponsor some groceries from our shop "Kivanash Mart".

We did our best to sponsor as much as we could. Unfortunately, the lockdown was extended further and more people needed help. We cud not fork out too much money, so we decided to ask help from our friends and family to chip in to fund the charity efforts. Being a grocery store we had an advantage to give the goods at cost price, so we can help more people. Instead of manually asking them for cash and transfer, we thought of using your app to have better administered charity drive. All records, fund amounts , names of donors, activities are recorded and professionally managed.

Since the start of the MCO we have heard many stories about how people managing the daily life at home.

Not everyone is having the same life during this lockdown.

Many are suffering in silence, unable to reach out for help. Even though some good samaritans and NGO's have come forward to help but it will never be enough to put a meal on everyone's plate.

I have started this drive to support the initiative by Shridi Sai Baba Centre from Bukit Sentosa, Rawang with an collaboration with Kivanash Cash'n'Carry to provide some grocery products and household items for the poor, old, disable and sick people around the vicinity of Bukit Sentosa and Bukit Beruntung area. So far more than 50 families have received the goods and we need more.

We are going to buy: rice, eggs, sugar, oil, milk, flour, bread, biscuits, can food, noodles, pad, mask etc.
