Identity VerifiedI help as a volunteer at an animal shelter in my town. It is called the Seberang Perai SPCA, in Malaysia. It is a no-kill shelter which tries to rehome rescued and abandoned dogs and cats. Many of these animals were also rescued from the local authorities where they were scheduled to be destroyed. Currently there are around a thousand dogs and cats. The shelter needs approximately USD 10000 a month to meet the rising cost of food, veterinary bills and management of the shelter.
I recently adopted a cat from the shelter and took it to the vet. The cost of its treatment came to USD500 . I am trying to use this platform to raise as much funds as possible for the shelter. Thank you.
